Before + After: Valley Oak Powder Bathroom

First and foremost, this is one of my favorite bathroom remodels ever! There are (2) reasons for this:

  1.  Our client at the valley oak house is design visionary who is willing to make bold design choices and understands that these choices will help create a powerful and curiated  design.  Just wait until you see the wall tile from Heath Ceramics and you will understand what we are talking about!
  2.  This bathroom is a good example of a small space, that was in need of  a little “face lift.” We did not move any plumbing or walls. A pocket door was installed to help this small bathroom feel much larger. We simply removed the old faucet, sink vanity, and light fixtures.

Since we were working with a small space, we decide to remove the hinged door and make it a pocket door:

Our client wanted a “locker” type system installed around the toilet for guests to put their personal items while enjoying the pool. So here’s what we came up with (no doors or hardware yet!):
